Why nothing else works until this one is done.

Most people do this in the wrong order

There's a floor to cutting. No ceiling on earning.

Why it's rarely the highest earners

How one generation loses what another built
I didn't start in finance. I spent over 25 years in the entertainment industry, DJing and producing events in more than 10 countries. Somewhere along the way I noticed something: the people who built something lasting were rarely the ones earning the most. They were the ones who understood the order.
So I started building. I renovated buildings in my own neighborhood, co-created the PowerLab coworking space in Yonkers, owned a tech company, and today I run Lumarjo Holdings, a social impact investment firm. I also built a business course for people at the Greyston Foundation who wanted to start something of their own.
I hold an MBA and I'm currently working on a PhD in Business Administration, but that's not why I built LMJ University. I built it because I kept meeting people who were smart, working hard, and still had nobody to show them what came first..
